“MIRAME” IS A DOUBLE VISUAL RITUAL, A DUO IN A SUBTLE BALANCE BETWEEN OBJECT AND REFLECTION, BETWEEN MATTER AND IMAGE. THE STRUCTURE, A METAL BAR OF SOBER ELEGANCE, DOES NOT HAVE THE FUNCTION OF TRADITIONAL SUPPORT. INSTEAD, IT BECOMES A REFERENCE AXIS, A LINE OF TENSION THAT TRACES A FINE BORDER BETWEEN TWO ENTITIES. ON ONE SIDE THE FORM, ON THE OTHER ITS MIRRORED PROJECTION: TWO SCULPTURES THAT LOOK AT EACH OTHER, REFLECT, RECOGNIZE EACH OTHER. LOOKING AT “MIRAME”, THE SPACE IS NO LONGER A SINGLE SPACE BUT A DOUBLE ENVIRONMENT, THE REAL AND THE REFLECTION, LIKE IN A CONTEMPORARY GAME OF MIRRORS THAT INVITES ONE TO RECOGNIZE NOT ONLY THE EXTERNAL BUT ALSO THE INTERNAL OF A GAZE. THE MIRROR IS NOT JUST FOR SHOWING: IT BECOMES AN ALTAR OF IDENTITY, A GAME OF PRESENCES THAT DUPLICATE WITHOUT EVER CONFUSING. THE TWO PRESENCES, THE OBJECT AND ITS IMAGE, BECOME COMPANIONS IN A SILENT DIALOGUE: THEY CHANGE LIGHT, WARM UP, DIM, MULTIPLY. “MIRAME” THUS BECOMES A LIVING OBJECT, THAT BREATHES WITH THE SPACE AND WITH THOSE WHO OBSERVE IT. THIS SCULPTURAL MIRROR TRANSFORMS THE REFLECTOR INTO A TOOL OF POETRY AND REFLECTION, AESTHETIC AND CONCEPTUAL. IT IS AN INVITATION TO OBSERVE THE WORLD AND OURSELVES WITH A NEW GAZE, TO UNDERSTAND THAT EVERY SURFACE CAN CONTAIN MUCH MORE THAN AN IMAGE: IT CAN CONTAIN STORIES, MEMORY, ATMOSPHERES.
